Matt Schichter is a Canadian-born, Glasgow-based feature film producer, director and line producer.

As a producer his 2023/24 slate includes psychological thriller (Strangers in a Room), musical traumedy (Mother of All Shows), detective comedy (Paige Darcy and the Case of the Stoned Cat), indie murder comedy (Mother Father Sister Brother Frank) and thriller (Row).

As a director, he’ll next be telling the story of the radio station CFNY in the 1980s as it brought new wave and punk music to North America in a documentary feature.

Matt has also directed and produced music videos as well as content for Google, Microsoft, TD Bank and Universal Music.

As an actor, he's appeared in dozens of television shows, films and commercials. You can next see him as a villain in the feature film (Strangers in a Room) and a crooked cop in (Paige Darcy and the Case of the Stoned Cat). 

As a former radio personality and podcasting pioneer, he's interviewed everyone from Robert De Niro to Lady Gaga.
