Since training with some of the best technicians in the BBC, David has gone on to record sound in some of the toughest and most extreme environments in the world. He has adapted his skills (and equipment) to endure, focus and maintain the highest possible standards in location sound recording.

Desert/Arctic (including dark season)/Altitude (+4000m)/Underwater/Boat/Jungle/Hazardous animal locations/Helicopter/Expedition/Mine-Excavation Sites/Politically unsafe-high risk Locations training ACT Awareness Counter Terrorism Training – COVID-19 set skills - BBC H&S trained/Hazardous Machinery Training (Excavator/rubble truck/wash plants)/Underground Mine site safety/Extreme Jungle survival training/Bear-Elephant-Snake-Poisonous Insects-Shark awareness training / SKI aptitude to red level.
