Trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, before immediately beginning work on the TV series 'Outlander: Blood of my Blood' where I continued to develop and apply my skills in creating painted effects and finishes to the very hightest standard.

Skilled in a wide variety of painting techniques necessary to create high-realism finishes for screen, both at studio and location, such as:

• Translating Design Models and References
• All aspects of surface prep (filling, sanding, priming, texturing, basing)
• High-realism faux finishing (woodgraining, stone, brick, lichen, moss, etc.)
• Decorating - filling, sanding, lining
• Compressor spray gun
• Colour Mixing
• Ageing and Distressing
• Budgeting and scheduling 
• Cloth painting
