ScreenSkills Trainee Finder Trainee 2026/2027 (Location Sound)

I am new to the industry and keen to gain hands-on experience as a trainee sound engineer within film and television production.

I hold an MSc in Sound Design in Audiovisual Practice from the University of Glasgow and a First-Class BA (Hons) in Popular Music from Edinburgh Napier University.

I recently completed the Television Sound Operations CPD at Glasgow City College, delivered by freelance TV Sound Supervisor Jim Hunter, covering sound engineering fundamentals, professional equipment operation, studio workflows, and outside broadcast practices.

Technically confident, reliable, and keen to learn, I am eager to support experienced sound teams and build practical on-set and studio experience within professional production environments.
