My background is 17 years as a Senior Police Photographer and CSI/ Scenes of Crime Officer/ Senior Forensic Scene Examiner based in Scotland.

Within my experience in the Scottish Criminal Justice System, I have covered all scenes over the years, whether that is dealing with Murders, Cold Casework and archeological digs, I’ve attended copious Post Mortems of bodies of all ages and conditions and and can advise on technical details in sudden deaths in all circumstances, including suicides and deaths from heights, from drugs, vehicles and others.

I have extensive experience giving evidence in court. I can advise on technical equipment, both forensic and imaging, the procedures, production/ evidence/ exhibits and Personal Protective Equipment (inc. COVID) used at scenes, showing accuracy and detail that is often lacking in television and other media.
