What do I get when I sign up for FIlmBang?
If you sign up between The August and the end of September you will get an online listing for a year, insertion into the industry standard printed directory and a copy of the printed directory sent to you in January 2011. If you sign up outwith these months you will get an online listing and a copy of the printed directory.
Is there any reason that someone can't take out a listing with FilmBang?
You must have professional production experience either in broadcast, corporate or cinema release productions.
How do I go about Listing with FilmBang?
You can sign up with us online by clicking on the sign up area on the right of the home page or if you would rather you can email or call us and we can help get things set up for you.
What sort of online listing do I get?
You get to list all the primary details of your business ina basic listing and for an extra £10.00 you can add a logo, integrated showreel and a downloadable C.V.

Can I advertise with FilmBang online as well?
There are various online advertising opportunities as well as advertising within the directory please contact us for more details on 0141 334 2456.
What is the best size of logo for the online listing?
Your logo should be either a jpg, png or a gif and for best display the dimensions 220px wide by 450px deep will fit best.
I would like to add my C.V to my listing what file types do you accept?
Your C.V can be uploaded as a Word doc or a PDF.
Will people be able to view my personal details?
When you sign up with FilmBang we will keep a note of your "user" details for our office use only. The only details that the end user can view is those entered by yourself in the listings apllication form. If you don't want your address included simply leave that area blank.
How many listings can I have?
You can take out as many listings as you need. After your initial listing your additional ones are offered at the discounted rate.
What are the costs of taking out a listing?
The costs of the listings are dependent on the category you come under. Please see the following price guide -
The price for each section includes a copy of the directory.
Production Companies
This section costs £60.00 + VAT per company and lists companies based in Scotland. These companies are expected to uphold trade union principles of employment. Please remember it's an extra £10.00 to add a logo, integrated showreel and a downloadable C.V.
Workshops
This section is free. It lists members of the Scottish Association of Workshops, franchised or not. Please remember it's an extra £10.00 to add a logo, integrated showreel and a downloadable C.V.
Facilities
This section costs £70.00 + VAT per entry with an additional entry costing of only £35.00 + VAT. It is available to any company who's facilities may be of use or allied to Film/Television makers in Scotland. Please remember it's an extra £10.00 to add a logo, integrated showreel and a downloadable C.V.
Personnel
Each entry costs £35.00 + VAT. This section lists freelance professional film makers with a home address in Scotland. Entries are listed by Job Title. If you want to be registered in more than one category it will cost you more. Each additional entry is an extra £10.00 + VAT. Please remember it's an extra £10.00 to add a logo, integrated showreel and a downloadable C.V.
