BBC Scotland’s in-house grading facility is built around Baselight HD, which provides full HD real-time colour correction, 9TB local storage and a dedicated grading control surface. Grading is undertaken on a state of the art 40” flat panel HD display or a full HD glass monitor, as required. Our staff graders, Iain Harkness and David Woods, bring many years of broadcast experience to their work with recent credits including Making Scotland’s Landscape, River City, Northern Civic Architecture, The Secret Life of Waves and Neil Morrissey: Care Home Kid.
